Finally got the time to vacuum out my car so I could put in my new all weather floor mats.

I learned you can access the frame vin number by lifting a flap under the passenger mat.

Those look kinda slippery? They do look pretty nice though, Most manufacturers always have some sort of nice all weather mat that they either offer or that comes with the car.

They're actually pretty grippy. I'm pretty curious to see how they hold up in the long run. I wore a hole through my corolla's. They were standard mats though. I pivot on my heel between the gas and brake.

I work outside so my shoes get nasty. Hopefully it'll help keep things clean or at least easier to clean up

Sometimes. Mostly it just melts as soon as it hits the ground and then freezes when the sun starts to set making all the roads into a giant skating rink. Look at snowpacalypse from last year. It usually melts quickly but doesn't dry up leaving orange mud. You may have heard of famous Georgia clay. It stains everything.

Fun fact: it gets it's orange color from high levels of iron oxide aka rust.

Hah, I do the same and also wore a hole in the matt on our '04 Mazda 3. I think the carpet on the floor is getting a similar hole too. Time for new matts, i think.
